It’s not that relaxation is better than tension or the other way around. What is important is the right kind of tension and the right kind of relaxation – at the right time – for the right reasons.
It’s learning, or in many cases relearning what is optimal for you, at any one moment in time.
We know the wrong kind of stress or over tension does not help with optimal decision-making. Over tension or very busy mental thinking clouds perception of the appropriate right answers.
Over relaxation is not good for the body, as the body needs equal amounts of tension and relaxation even to stand up.
The right type of tension and right type of relaxation whilst subtle can improve your life in almost every way.
